The original idea for this post began as “Top Wellness Trends for 2016”. My research turned up hundreds of articles about wearables, treadmill desks, and recess at work.

Those articles told me to move more because sitting would kill me. Take a walking meeting, they said. Put on a tracker and record your diet and fitness and sleep and bowel movements, they said. Ok, maybe not about the bowel movements but I think I’ve made my point.
